Development and Education
At Little Blossom, we nurture curious minds and budding talents. We believe in supporting each child to explore their full potential, grow into well-rounded individuals, and contribute positively to their community. We encourage open communication between children and parents, fostering a shared understanding of their journey.

At Little Blossom, we see children and families as partners in growth. We design our curriculum around the seven areas of learning outlined in the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework, providing a vibrant and stimulating environment for exploration and discovery. This holistic approach equips them with the skills and confidence to thrive and make a meaningful impact on their community. We foster open communication and collaboration with parents, ensuring they are empowered to support their child's development at home and celebrate their achievements at every step.

Personal, Social and Emotional Development
We give children opportunities to ensure they make positive relationships with their peers and adults around them by building self-confidence. We ensure children develop self-awareness, are able to express their feeling, manage their behaviour, and respect others' feelings in a variety of situations.
Communication and Language
We ignite children’s interest by reading and writing. Giving them the best opportunities for developing positive speaking, listening, and understanding skills. Supporting them to communicate their ideas and thoughts with each other and adults. Enabling the environment with signs, symbols, words, songs, and stories. We present books, puzzles, and events that take into account interests, backgrounds, and cultures.
Literacy
We promote children's learning to connect sounds and letters. To encourage children's reading and writing development through access to a wide range of books, poems, and mark-making.
Mathematics
By supporting children’s understanding of different situations provides opportunities to explore, practice, learn, and talk. Giving the best opportunity to develop and improve their counting, understanding, and using numbers skills, to describe shapes, spaces, and measures. Using stories, songs, and imaginative play help with mathematical understanding.
Physical Development
Children in our setting have the opportunity to be active and interactive as they develop their co-ordination, control, and movement skills, which we encourage. We support exercise, sleep and eating to promote health through indoors and outdoors activities, experiencing positive energetic physical play. Our snack times promote social skills and t making healthy food choices.
Understanding the World
We give children the opportunity to have first-hand experiences to observe, predict, make decisions, and discuss the environment, living things, and objects. Involves guiding children to make sense of their physical world and their community and find out about people, places, technology, and the environment.
Expressive Art and Design
We support children’s curiosity and play. They explore and share their thinking, ideas, and feelings in music, in art, movement and dance, role play, and technology. We value their own unique ideas and stimulate originality and expressiveness. Allowing children to express themselves through various types of representation.
